There's been a lot of buzz about singer Ray-J's new single "I Hit It First". Many believe the song is about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West's new woman and baby momma.
In a recent interview with Shade 45 of The All Out Show Ray J addressed the rumors. He said the record is more about him than anyone else. Ray said he feels noone has a right to be upset over the song, not even Kanye.
"I don't think nobody should be upset about something that really happened," Ray said.
The "Sexy Can I" singer also added that people sing and rap about their lives in their songs and this is a chapter in his life.
"I think people need to look at it like that and don't look at it for nothing more than that," Ray added.
In response to Ray a close friend of Kanye spoke on his behalf saying West doesn't condone broke and jealous guys like Ray J trying to bite off his and Kim's fame just to become relevant.
"Tell him to call Kanye when he gets to the $100 million mark because guess what? Kanye hit that first, " the unknown source said.
Ray did an interview with Hot 97 to respond saying it's just a record.
"It's not about that. It's about a concept. They doing way too deep," Ray said on The Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show.
Ray J's song is no different that Kanye's lyrics when he bragged about having love for Kim in one of his records, while she was married to Kris Humphries!
