Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z may be the doing good things but his clothing line Rocawear could be off the market as soon as you snap your fingers. Maybe that's why urban fashion stores have minimum Rocawear clothing and why a pair of jeans can be bought for as low as $14.99!
Recently, it was reported that Jay's and Dame Dash's clothing line is being sued. The company has been accused of failing to pay shipping fees for shipments from Pakistan to New York City from April to June of 2012. The agreement was $1 million for shipping which they have only received close to half.
Of course, many are thinking why is Jay being sued when he sold Rocawear? Well, that's because he still has control over licensing and marketing not to mention product development.
If Rocawear goes out of business then it's probably long overdue. Noone really sports the brand like they use to when it first debuted. During that time Rocawear was in competition with other hip hop brands like G-Unit, Sean Jean, Apple Bottom and Phat Farm.
