Beginning in October of this year Universal Music will be re-releasing some of what they call "Respect The Classics" albums. Some of the artists on the list include Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, DMX and 2Pac.
On October 22nd DMX albums "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot" and "Flesh Of My Flesh Blood Of My Blood" will be released on gold vinyl and blood-splattered clear vinyl. 50 Cent's "Get Rich Or Die Trying", Slick Rick's "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick and Public Enemy's "It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back" will be released on November 12th. 50 Cent's debut album will be released on platinum vinyl.
Following DMX, 50 Cent, Slick Rick and Public Enemy's remastered releases Universal Music will re-issue Eminem's "The Slim Shady", Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter", Kanye West's "808s and Heartbreak", Common's "Like Water For Chocolate", N.E.R.D "In Search Of" and 2Pac's "Greatest Hits".
Joining this list of emcees and albums are "Devil's Night" and "D12 World" from the rap group D12.
