Shay Johnson of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta recently did an interview with Carl "Babyface Monster" Jones of Midwest Minute Blog Radio. During the interview she discussed her new clothing line, how she made her debut as a reality star and life outside of Love and Hip Hop.
Shay started out in music videos and then as she was looking for an ad in craigslist she came across a casting call for Vh1's Flavor of Love in which she auditioned for. Shay said she was in the process of moving so the opportunity came just in time.
Following Flavor of Love she appeared on Charm School, I Love Money and two seasons of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Speaking of the reality tv drama series Johnson couldn't give any information of if there's a season 3 of L&HHA coming or if she would be appearing on it. For all those who want to know if Shay and Lil Scrappy are still friends the answer is yes. Shay confirmed that she and Scrappy still talk.
"That's what friends do. They communicate," she said.
Shay also talked about her new clothing line called Bread Girlz which consists of T- Shirts, hats and other accessories. Shay said her goal is to open doors for others and that she hopes to bring women together with her clothing line.
The reality star isn't only in the clothing business. she also is doing radio, something Shay said she always wanted to do. You catch her doing her thing in Atlanta on Streetz 94.5.
Shay said she is very well aware that by doing reality television that her personal life is going to be exposes. She also said it doesn't bother her when she hears negative comments about her.
When Shay was asked what advice could she give other women who have desires to be reality stars she said "always learn the business".
