BET 2013 Hip Hop Awards Recap: "Bone Thugs Closes The Show"

Hosted by rapper Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg the BET Hip Hop Awards was not the greatest but it wasn't the worse. The performers weren't at all impressive with a few exceptions. Kevin Hart blessed the stage with a few jokes for boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and Rick Ross.

The biggest highlights on this year's BET Hip Hop Awards were the Real Husband's of Hollywood freestyling on the cypher and Bone Thugs N Harmony who closed out the show with classics like "1st of the Month" and "Crossroads".

Bone Thugs consists of five members but all were there except Layzie Bone who is now a solo artist.
It was refreshing seeing Flesh N Bone on stage being that he hasn't been in performance with his fellow mates.

Kevin Hart had the crowd in tears with his verse in the cypher while Kendrick was having some of the rappers getting prepared for another dis track.

Flesh and Layzie are brothers and Wish Bone is their cousin.

Other performances on the BET 2013 Hip Hop Awards were French Montana, Future, Meek Mill, Rocko, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q with "Collard Greens" and Yo Gotti rapped a snippet to "Act Right".

The Cypher list included freestyles by Joe Budden, Lil Kim, Tiffany Foxx, ASAP Ferg, Jay Rock, Nick Cannon and Boris Kojoe.

MC Lyte won the "I Am Hip Hop Award". But we couldn't help but notice some of the top hip hop artists were absent from the music event. Lil Wayne and none of the Young Money crew were present. Kanye West, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Big Sean were also absent.
