Nas Speaks On Tanning In Today's Music



Recently, rapper Nas did an interview with Complex where he spoke about the tanning in today's music. He also talked about Kanye West and how his mission is to longer save hip hop.

In the interview Nas was asked who he felt represented tanning in today's music.

"I think the new artists are representing how tanning effects America today. The new artists are doing new things. They have a very new conversation about lifestyle, fashion, and all of that," Nas explained.

"From Miley Cyrus to Robin Thicke to all the people that are representing saying "We are one." All the people that are out there doing music that's like-This young culture, the young American culture, the young world culture," the Queens rapper added.

In regards to Kanye West who Nas once credited for saving hip hop has had a change of heart.

"I think his mission no longer is to save Hip Hop. I think he's on an artistic mission. He wants to express himself," Nas said.

Speaking of Kanye West, he recently performed with Jay-Z at a Samsung concert in Austin, Texas.
