Chief Keef Responds To Being Dropped From Interscope

As many of you already know Chicago rapper Chief Keef is no longer with Interscope Records.

According to AllHipHop.com, a close source reveals that Keef was dropped due to his series of legal issues in 2013-2014. It was the reported shoot-out in Chicago allegedly involving Keef which was the final straw for the record company.

However, according to Chief Keef, he was done with Interscope when former CEO of Interscope Records Jimmy Lovine and Dr. Dre left. 

It was on Tuesday when the announcement of Keef no  longer being with Interscope was made. In response to the news Keef tweeted a message to Lovine. 


"100% of everything goes to me now. Jimmy it was cool splitting it with U But u gave yo spot up!” Keef tweeted.

The Chicago rapper later stated that noone helped him pay any bills and that he was pretty much done with Interscope after Dre and Lovine left the company.


“When Jimmy n Dre left that’s when I said fuck Interscope! Big Dick style. that’s what I signed up for not this new staff! Of White Honkies!, Keef added.

It was in 2012 when Keef signed with Interscope. He released his first album "Finally Rich" which sold 50,000 copies in it's first week.
