Rapper Snoop Dogg may have had a little tiff tiff with female rapper Iggy Azalea but he had much respect for the female rap game.

In a recent interview on "The D.L. Hughley Show" Snoop sat down with the comedian and talk show host to discuss his new album with Pharrell and his respect for female rappers.

Snoop said he feels that female rappers don't get the respect they deserve. He said it's more about how they look than how they sound. Is he referring to Iggy?

“I treat everybody with love and eye to eye,” Snoop Dogg said.

“That’s why they call me ‘Uncle Snoop’ now instead of ‘Just some old rapper.’ I always treated them with love and respect. No matter how big he was I always looked at him eye to eye. The younger generation could always appreciate me...I love Hip Hop,” he added.

Previously, Snoop made headlines for dissing Iggy via Instagram. He posted humiliating pics and made harsh and offensive comments about the Grand Hustle artist.

Snoops upcoming album is produced by Pharrell Williams and is due in January 2015!
