Mike Epps & Nia Long Star In New "Uncle Buck" Series

Mike Epps who has been selected to play Richard Pryor in the late comedian's biopic has also been chosen to play Uncle Buck in the new remake comedy series.

According to reports, Epps will play the leading role in the new TV Adaptation of “Uncle Buck". Joining Epps will be Nia Long who will play his sister-in-law.

The classic 1989 comedy "Uncle Buck" starred the late John Candy and Maucaulay Culkin. The film was directed by John Hughes. 

The new "Uncle Buck" comedy series was written by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley. Epps will play Buck Russell, a childish man who learns how to be an adult by taking care of his brother Will’s kids in a very childish way. Nia Long will play Will's strong-willed and smart wife.

With the comedy series "Black-ish" on the screen "Uncle Buck" is the perfect fit to keep black comedy in the runnings.
