Kendrick Lamar who released his sophomore album "To Pimp A Butterfly" is the next in line to throw the first pitch at the Dodgers upcoming game.
According to the Los Angeles Dodgers, on April 27 the West Coast rapper is scheduled to throw out the first pitch when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the San Francisco Giants.
The Dodgers made the announcement via Twitter with a picture of Lamar wearing a Dodgers cap.
"Really diggin' that lid, @kendricklamar. See you April 27 for your first pitch,” the Dodgers’ tweet said.
The Compton rapper will be joining a list of celebrities who have thrown the first pitch for a major league baseball team including rapper Biz Markie, rock star Jack White, actor Jeff Bridges and rapper/actor 50 Cent who many have said was one of the worst first pitch throwers.
