50 Cent Saves Chief Keef's Interscope Deal

NY- In a recent radio interview 50 Cent revealed that he came to Chief Keef's aide when Interscope was considering dropping Keef from his lucrative record deal.  This of course comes in the midst of the controversy surrounding Keef and slain Chicago rapper, Lil JoJo.  Keef's twitter beef with Lupe Fiasco maybe have also added to Interscope's apprehensiveness.

"There was some energy there in the [Interscope] building, they was actually thinking about dropping him," 50 said in an interview. "I was like, 'D*mn you can't just like drop him.' That's what hip-hop culture is. It's an opportunity for you to make it from anywhere. If you from the bottom right now you could listen to this music that comes on, write something and put them cards back they gave you and deal yourself some new ones."

"...Chicago had 158 homicides this summer; 38 of them was teens.  So they gotta go through an investigation to make sure that that’s actually someone affiliated with Chief Keef."

As things stand right now, Chief Keef is still signed to Interscope Records.  -Southside Jake
