Last week Nelly and his crew were arrested in Texas after drugs and a loaded weapon was found on his tour bus. According to reports, .64 ounces of heroin, 10 pounds of marijuana and a .45 caliber was found on the bus.
Brian Keith Jones, one of the seven passengers told police the drugs and gun belonged to him. Nelly and the other passengers were released and Jones was arrested.
Nelly released a statement to XXL.mag saying him nor the others were aware of Jones bringing any illegal drugs or a weapon onto the bus.
It's a good thing Jones came forward but it doesn't make Nelly a good judge of character. He should make sure if he's clean that the people around him are as well because different states vary by law. The police could have easily put it on him or they all could be facing charges!
