So, not only did West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar have the number one album of the year, he also has been placed on MTV's Top 5 Hottest MC's in the Game List.
Starting at number five is the one and only Drizzy Drake followed by Nas at #4, Rick Ross ranking at number 3 and coming in at number two is 2 Chainz.
Holding down the number one spot on the list is Kendrick Lamar.
Meek Mill, Kanye West and A$AP Rocky also made the list. G.O.O.D MUSIC member Big Sean came in at number 6 with West at number 7. The final three on the list are A$AP Rocky at #8, Future at #9 and Mill at number ten.
A$AP Rocky and West were displeased with the list. West said it bothers him to be at number seven. He feels their decision was based on his compilation album "Cruel Summer". Rocky said he was frustrated with his ranking.
"Don't put me at all. I need to be number one," Rocky said to LALeakers.
How does Kendrick Lamar feel about being number one? Lamar told MTV that he was always determined to be on the list and it feels good to be at number one!
