Like many other artists rumor has it that Dame Dash former CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records is reportedly broke and deep in debt.
According to the Daily News, Dash owes almost $2 million in taxes for the state of New York and he's behind $100k in rent on his mansion in NYC. Dash didn't deny those rumors. According to him, he's several months behind on his personal bills.
"I am currently over $100,000 behind in rent for the only home in which I live an in risk of being evicted," Dash revealed in court documents.
Dash also issued a statement to a judge asking him not to garnish his wages for nearly $238,000 for a lawsuit from a loan back in 2008. In addition to back rent and taxes Dash pays close to $30,000 a month in child support. He has also given up $20,000 in garnished wages for other reported debts. Dash blames financial issues on him falling behind in rent and other personal bills and his inability to keep his business ventures up.
He told NY Daily News that he's a business man and what happened comes with it. He says he has the guts to fight his own battles.
"It's entertainment to everybody else because I'm so cool about it," Dash said.
Dash can't be broke! He is part owner of Vampire clothing with rapper Jim Jones. He still has a Vodka called V and Dusko Whiskey in the making, not to mention Dash Oil company. He just hit a rough spot that's all!
