In a recent interview with HipHopDX DJ Paul of the now former group Three 6 Mafia discussed the new direction he has taken in music and his relationship with Juicy J.
What fans assumed to be a Three 6 Mafia reunion was confirmed by DJ Paul himself that there is no reunion. Paul told the hip hop site that there can't be a Three 6 Mafia reunion without Juicy J.
"J's not in it so it can't be Three 6 Mafia because one of the key members not in it," DJ Paul said.
However, Paul did announce the name of his new group Da Mafia 6ix consisting of the members Gangsta Boo, Koopsta Knicca, Lord Infamous and Crunchy Black.
"These are the people that I brought into the group. These are people that I went to school with or blood related to," Paul added.
As far as his relationship with Juicy j he said they still do business together but they are not musically involved.
"We still talk because we own all the companies together, we still get big bucks together, we still talk business stuff but I'm not on the album," Paul said.
