Sadly, West Coast legend emcee DJ Quik is going through a hard time in his life. According to hip hop news reports, his daughter Davienna Blake, 21, was charged with murder along with her boyfriend Darnell Alvarez. The couple was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and first degree murder.
Blake and Alvarez were accused of killing their two year old son. Witnesses stated the child was severely beaten with a leather belt by Alvarez, 24, for wetting the bed. Blake was accused of allowing Alvarez to beat their son causing him to have bruises. He also suffered from internal bleeding and a lacerated liver.
Children who wet the bed is what you call a bladder problem. Spanking, whipping or beating them isn't going to make them stop wetting the bed. For a mother to sit back and allow a man to beat their child for wetting the bed is just as guilty as he is. Being the dad doesn't justify abuse!
