Ice-T and Chubb Rock Launches Male Awareness Foundation

 
 
Previously, hip hop producer Dr. Dre and executive Jimmy Lovine have teamed up to start a music school in LA. Now its been reported that two hip hop legend rappers are headed in a similar direction.
 
According to hip hop news, rappers Ice-T and Chubb Rock have teamed up to launch a foundation for Male Awareness. The foundation's purpose is to promote different stages of cancer screenings like testicular, colon, pancreatic and oral.
 
Joining the hip hop pioneers will be Mickey and Toya Bentson and Dr. Annie Ford. Mickey says their mission is to encourage everyone to get tested regularly.
 
"A lot of issues can be addressed with early detection," co-founder Bentson said.
