On July 8TH singer Lauryn Hill began serving her three month prison sentence for tax evasion. Recently, the multi-talented artist gave an update on how prison life is going in an open letter.
In the letter Hill started out saying she's learned to look for the purpose and reason in everything including the trials at a very young age. She talked about the warm welcome she's received from the inmates. She thanked her fans for the letters and good wishes.
"Although I may not be able to write everyone back, please know that they have been received, read, acknowledged and appreciated. With love back, MLH," Hill wrote.
The Former Fugees star is in minimum security at Danbury, Connecticut. Her job would most likely include maintenance, food service or landscaping.
