It was in the early 90's when the rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony made their debut into the mainstream hip hop arena. The group consisted on Flesh n Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone. Their first hit was "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" featuring vocals by Shatasha Williams.
According to recent hip hop news, Layzie Bone has announced his departure from the group. In a statement he said he's working on his solo career. He has an album he's working on called "Perfect Timing".
"I'm doing what makes sense right now for my family and myself which is building my own brand," Layzie said in a statement.
The former BT&H member is branding his name through Howse Entertainment.
He added that he will be performing at the Rock the Bells concert with the group but once that's over he has no obligation to do nothing more with Bone Thugs N Harmony. He also said he never wanted to go solo but he's making the push for his team.
"I love collaborating with my family," he said.
Layzie is related to two members of BT&H. Flesh n Bone is his older brother and Wish Bone is his cousin!
