In recent hip hop news it was reported that while serving time in prison Gucci Mane went on a Twitter rant making foul comments to his business partners, friends and fellow rappers.
In his tweets he mentioned rappers Birdman, Drake and Rick Ross. He also stated that his inappropriate actions are a result of his addiction to the recreational drug called LEAN.
Gucci posted tweets apologizing for his behavior and comments he made towards his friends and others. He also asked his Twitter followers to keep him in their prayers and vowed to go to rehab for his addiction.
Here are some of his tweets where he apologizes to the people he offended:
"I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I'm sorry!"
"I've been drinking lean & that s**t ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse."
"I'm currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help. I wanna thank everyone that has stood by me."
"wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my n****s. I 100% regret my words & actions.
It's a good thing Gucci acknowledges his addiction and how it has affected the people around him and close to him. Wondering if lean is also the reason for the tremendous decline in his music!
