According to reports, rapper Young Jeezy and his producer Don Cannon is facing a lawsuit. The two were accused of sampling parts of legend musician Leroy Hutson's song "Getting It On" for Jeezy's single "Time".
Hutson who is still alive filed the lawsuit himself accusing Jeezy and Cannon of Copyright Infrigement and Unjust Enrichment. Thanks to Hutson's daughter the info was found on whoSampled.com.
In the lawsuit Hutson is seeking a trial by jury. He is suing for damages, a full accounting and attorney fees. He also accused Jeezy of using the samples in the video to the song "Time".
Robin Thicke is also under fire for the Summer jam "Blurred Lines" by the late Marvin Gaye's family. They feel Thicke's song is similar to Gaye's song "Got To Give It Up".
