It was in April 1994 when rapper Nas aka Nasir Jones released his debut album "Illmatic". Two decades later the Queens emcee is re-releasing the classic album as part of it's 20th anniversary.
According to reports, Nas announced that he will be releasing "The Year of Illmatic XX" in celebration of the album that made him one of the best rappers alive. The album will include remixes and previously unreleased demos and freestyles.
"Illmatic" consisted of the hit singles "The World Is Yours", "NY State of Mind", "One Love" and "It Ain't Hard To Tell".
"Illmatic XX" is schedule to drop on April 15th via SONY.
