While it has been confirmed that Alexandra Shipp will be playing the late R&B singer Aaliyah, the production behind the film has also found who will be playing producer Timberland and rapper/singer Missy Elliott.
According to reports, Missy will be played by Chattrisse Dolabaille and Timberland will be played by Izaak Smith.
Chattrisse is very multi-talented. She is a dancer, singer and actor. Izakk was a contestant on "So You Think You Can Dance Canada". He also stars on the show "Rise" which airs on ABC Spark.
Aaliyah's family wasn't too happy with the initial production of the singer's biopic so they took matters in their own hands.
Congrats to Alexandra, Chattrisse and Izaak on their roles in the Aaliyah film but who's going to play Dame Dash and R. Kelly?
