Word around the web is singer Mariah Carey has ended her business relationship with Jermaine Dupri. Did she or didn't she?
According to reports, based on the poor album sales from Carey's last album "Me, I Am Mariah (The Exclusive Chanteuse)" she has indeed fired Jermaine Dupri as her manager. The album was released on May 27th and according to Nielsen Sound Scan, as of today the album reportedly only sold $103,000.
Dupri and Carey will continue to do music together, according to Carey. As far as Jermaine he doesn't seem to have any hard feelings for the "Vision of Love" singer.
"Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future," Dupri said.
The producer and singer collaborated on a few songs together including "We Belong Together" and "Always Be My Baby".
