According to James, he was indeed released from Def Jam. James made the announcement via Twitter.
"I should tell yall, I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free. If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz I got no money," James posted.
Trinidad James made a name for himself with the hit single "All Gold Everything" but since then he's only been featured on other artists song's such as August Alsina's "I Love This".
James never dropped an album. He has only released the mixtape "Don't Be S.A.F.E." in October. He was scheduled to release his second mixtape titled "10 PC Mild" in August on last year but it has yet to be released.
Wow! Trinidad's career ended before it really got started. His album is now free and he's back to where he started from. Whatever happened to the money he made? That's the tricky thing about being in the music industry. You got to keep the hits coming!
Most artist have taken the independent route so maybe Trinidad James will do fine on his own!
