It is amazing how one comment on social media can change your life forever!
Entertainer Cee-Lo Green has been under fire ever since he posted controversial statements about rape via Twitter. Since then Green has deleted the comments and apologized after he received backlash from other tweeters, but that wasn't good enough for some.
According to reports, Cee-Lo has been dropped from the United States Navy event in Washington D.C. The event is sponsored by Freedom Live who recently dropped the singer after they were informed of the Twitter posts from Cee-Lo. Freedom Live issued a statement saying the comments Cee-Lo posted were completely inconsistent with Navy core values.
"Regardless of intent or context, the lack of sensitivity towards an issue that is one of the great challenges facing our Navy is unacceptable," Freedom Live said.
Following Cee-Lo's controversial comments TBS also pulled his reality show. According to reports, the show's cancellations wasn't because of the comments he made on Twitter but because of low ratings!
