Read the story of behind the creation of "Sherifmatic": "Illmatic is my favorite album of all time, and I was ecstatic when the Time Is Illmatic documentary and tour was announced. This summer I got to see Nas perform live for the first time ever, a performance in which he performed Illmatic in its entirety from front to back. I was so moved by this display that it inspired me to recreate my own version of Illmatic to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album. Shermatic was released August 26th and features remade and revitalized production from Rhapdosit Beats.
