According to hip hop news, Snoop Doggy Dogg will be hosting this year's BET Hip Hop Awards for the second time. The West Coast rapper must have did something right for him to be asked to host again. Snoop did a great job doing last year's hip hop award show. Could he be the permanent host?
The BET Hip Hop Awards is set to air in October. Drake who is leading the pack with eight nominations including MVP of the Year, Iggy Azalea, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Envy, Kanye West, Future, Eminem, Schoolboy Q, Young Thug, Migos, B.O.B., Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifah and more.
For Producer of the Year the nominees are: Mike Will Made It, DJ Mustard, Timberland, Drumma Boy, Hit-Boy and Pharrell. The Lyricist of the Year nominees are: Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Drake.
Nominees for Track of the Year are: "My Hitta" by YG ft. Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan; "Cut Her Off" (Remix) by K Camp ft. YG, Lil Boosie and Too Short; "Worst Behavior" by Drake; "Studio" Schoolboy Q and "Move That Doh" by Future featuring Pharrell.
Snoop will also be hosting another event prior to the hip hop awards. On September 19th the day before the taping of the hip hop awards, he will be hosting a battle rap event called Snoop Dogg's Gladiator School.
On October 14th the "BET Hip Hop Awards" will air on BET!
