In April of this year linebacker Aldon Smith was suspended for nine games following an arrest at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Smith had been in trouble with the law numerous times for substance abuse; as well as, bad behavior which led up to his suspension. He was suspended until November 10th.
However, thanks to the San Francisco 49ers linebacker's good behavior, he could be coming back to the field early.
According to NBC Sports, Sources have confirmed that Smith's suspension could be reduced by one or two games and he could be playing in the games against the Rams or the Saints, or both.
In order for commissioner Roger Goodell to consider giving Smith an early release the he had to maintain his good behavior.
