According to reports, Jonathan Dwyer of the Arizona Cardinals was placed on reserve/non-football illness list following felony charges. Dwyer was charged with felony aggravated assault and eight misdemeanor charges, including assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
Dwyer was accused of beating on his wife. Unlike Ray Rice there was no video that surfaced but reports state that Dwyer broke his wife nose, headbutted her and punched her. He was also accused of throwing a shoe at their 1-year-old son.
Reports say Dwyer's wife suspected her husband of cheating. Although there was no confirmation as to why Dwyer physically attacked his wife, the couple had an argument after Dwyer's wife found another woman's number in his phone, according to police.
The incident occurred on July 21st but Dwyer wasn't arrested until September 17th.
So Dwyer has been placed on what they call reserve. He basically won't be returning for the rest of the season. Will he be suspended indefinitely or will he be cut from the NFL altogether?
