In August 2014 "The Boondocks" creator Aaron McGruder introduced "Black Jesus" to the screen. Due to high ratings the comedy series has been renewed for a second season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the animated series received strong ratings beating most broadcast competitions that night among adults 18-49.

Along with "Black Jesus" Mike Tyson's "Mike Tyson Mysteries" and "Mr. Pickles" will also be returning to the late night network.

All three animated shows including “Childrens Hospital,” “The Heart,” “She Holler” and “Rick and Morty” will return in 2015.
