If you reside in Oklahoma or plan to travel there you might want to leave your hoodies and grab a jacket instead!
While some cities are banning saggy pants and legalizing marijuana, Oklahoma is fighting to ban hoodies.
According to KFOR TV reports, Oklahoma has proposed a bill that would make wearing headed sweatshirts and hoodies a crime. The new law will ban a person from intentionally hiding his or her identity in a public place. This law will apply to all even those who are not involved in a crime. Anyone who violates this law will be guilty of misdemeanor charges and ordered to pay a fine up to $500.
Also according to the bill, hoodies can be worn for religious garments, weather protection, safety reasons, parades, masquerade parties, sporting groups, mascots and for Halloween celebrations.
No word on if this is true or not but if this rumor is to be true riots and protests aren't all Oklahoma City is going to have to worry about.
What do you think? Is it fair to dictate what an individual can wear in public?
