Suge Knight Facing Murder Charges

It's been reported that former CEO of Death Records has turned himself in to West Hollywood police following a hit-and-run incident.

According to TMZ, Knight was in an altercation with two men at Tam's Burgers, near the 1200 block of West Rosecrans Avenue. They said that while attempting to leave the scene following the fight, Knight jumped into his car and ran over Carter, who was attempting to get into the vehicle with Knight. Carter was later pronounced dead.

The other victim's condition is reportedly unknown but authorities are calling it a homicide.

Knight's lawyer David E. Blatt tells TMZ that the incident was unintentional and that his client feared for his life. He added that no murder charges will be filed because it was self defense.

Knight is currently in police custody with bail set at $2 million.
