Kerry Washington Set To Play Anita Hill In HBO Film

Kerry Washington who is known for her role as Olivia Pope in ABC's "Scandal" has landed a new role in an HBO film.

According to reports, Washington has been chosen to play Anita Hill in “Confirmation,” an original film about the volatile 1991 Clarence Thomas-Hill Supreme Court nomination hearings, which captivated the country and forever changed the way people think about sexual harassment, victims’ rights and modern-day race relations.

Washington is also known for her roles other films including "Django Unchained", "Lift", "Ray", "I Think I Love My Wife" and "Little Man".
