Who is Lil Dre?

Andre Alexander, im a 15 year old rapper born and raised in Chicago.

What got you started into rap and the seriousness side of it all?

I’ve always loved rap and listened to it most of my life. It became a hobby for me to make raps in my spare time. I started to take it more serious when my family heard my music one day and told me that they think the world should hear it too.

At what age did you begin rapping?

I started rapping at 14 years old.

Tell us about your song and visual "Lifestyle"...how did you come up with the concept and who produced it?

Once I heard the beat the lyrics came easily. I wanted it to have a vision of what I want to live like in the future. It was produced by Cashmere.

How would you describe your musical style?

My style is creative. I create music that is unique. I want to bring something new to the rap world.

Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

My artistic inspiration for making music is simply putting my thoughts down on paper. Whenever I have deep thoughts or feelings, I feel like I need to express them through music.

Do you have anyone that you consider your mentor? How has their help or advice shaped you?

There’s a lot of different people who gives me good advice, but no one can shape who I am except me. Instead of having a mentor, I’m trying my best to become one.
