On November 10th during the MTV EMA Music Awards rapper Eminem was honored with the "Global Icon" Award. He also won in the hip hop catagory. A week prior Em won for Artist of the Year during the YouTube awards.
The Detroit born rapper released his eight studio album "The Marshall Mathers 2" on November 5th. The album ranked #1 on the Billboard charts with close to 800,000 sales in it's first week.
Some of the hits featured on Eminem's latest album included "Bezerk", "Survival", "Rap God" and "Love Game" featuring West Coast emcee Kendrick Lamar!
"The Marshall Mathers 2" became Eminem's seventh album to make the number one spot on the Billboard charts. It also became the second album this year to rank high in sales. Drake's "Nothing Was The Same" comes in at number three selling 658,000 sales in it's first week.
