Recently, it was reported that rapper and business man Jay-Z is facing a lawsuit. According to hip hop reports, Jay-Z is being sued for copyright infringement by TufAmerica Inc.
According to Manhattan federal court documents, the "Holy Grail" rapper is accused of illegally using samples of the artist Eddie Bo's single "Hook & Sling" for his song "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna and Kanye West.
In the lawsuit TufAmerica is seeking funds from the single "Run This Town" and all financial compensation for the hit. They are also asking for all distribution and exploitation of the song to cease.
This news comes after it was reported that Jay-Z could be under investigation by the MLBPA (Major League Baseball Player Association) for giving a Hoblot watch to Yankees player Robinson Cano, one of his client for Roc Nation Sports.
