Did Wale Makes Good On His Promise?

It was just two weeks ago when rapper Wale announced that he would donate $5000 to Grambling State University in Louisiana. The generous donation came after the school forfeited their football game against Jackson State University due to their poor uniforms. On top of that the head coach Doug Williams was fired.

Recently, according to the president of Grambling State University Frank G. Pogue the rapper made due on his promise.

"We're grateful to Wale that he made such a wonderful pledge and we're excited that he made good on his pledge with a $5,000 donation. It will be put to good use," Pogue said.

Wale who is also the cousin of actor Chris Partlow of the HBO series "The Wire" could be expanding his endeavors in the television and film industry. The Grammy-nominated lyricist has partnered with the William Morris Endeavor talent agency.
