BFM: What does "Tensei mean, who are the members of the production goup?
Tensei: Tensei means Heaven Star -- Its a literal translation from Japanese Characters and a word you wont find in most dictionaries. Tensei is Simple X and Midas Wells.
BFM: Tensei stretches the boundaries of music genre's, but how would you describe the brand of music that y'all create?
Tensei: The music we create would be described as musical yet accessible.
BFM: What your fav instruments/programs that you're using nowadays?
Tensei: Favorite Programs would be Logic and Kontakt sound patches. Favorite instruments would be Moog lil Phatty, Fendor Rhodes, and Akai MPC.
BFM: Tensei is producing for alot of artist's at this moment. What projects are you currently working on, & who are you working with?
Tensei: We have been working with Chicago based MC's Ill Legit on a EP as well as MC Adad. Currently we are in talks with some people (we cannot say who right now) for a debut Tensei release. Also look for a collab in the not so distant future with UK/London based songbird Szjerdene.
BFM: Where can we get our hands on your music and where can they see you live in person next?
Tensei: We have some free down loadable tracks on our website tenseimusic.com. In terms of live shows, we are waiting to get our debut album sorted before push it hard, so for the moment, we aren't really performing.
