Jay-Z Explains Why He Supports President Obama

In a recent interview with MTV rapper Jay-Z addressed why he supports President Obama and what politics mean to him.

Jay said he supports President Obama because he respects his vision and him being the first black president.

"I gotta respect a man who is the first black president ever. To have that sort of vision and dream I have to support that," Jay told MTV.

The RocNation emcee said he doesn't like the word politics. He said it implies to underhanded.

"I think we need less government," he added.

Mr. Carter and his wife Beyonce hosted a fundraiser for President Obama. The tickets were $40,000 each.

Jay said he supports Obama because he respects his vision and him being the first black president. When two people of the opposite race produce a child that makes them biracial. Calling Obama the first black president is like ignoring his other half. You can't just support someone because of the color of their skin. You gotta dig deeper than that when it comes to position of power. Just because you are black doesn't mean you're qualified for the job!
