First, we get to hear from Vic Lloyd and the Treated Crew, representing not just their own unique style, but that of Leaders 1354, Chicago’s hottest streetwear vendor for the past 10 years. Kanye has rocked the Treated cap (or “crown” as they refer to it) and it is clear that this crew is hugely influential in the Chi.
In the second video, we hear from the next generation via rapper Sir Michael Rocks and members of the alternative hip-hop/rock group Kids These Days. Hear them talk about Chicago’s artistic scene, which encompasses everything from graphic and fine art to all genres of music. It is clear that these cats love their hometown."
