Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Releasing Joint Album

Following the footsteps of Jay-Z and Kanye West collaborated album "Watch The Throne", Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole could be next on the collabo album list.

Recently, during an interview, Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar discussed a possible collabo album featuring himself and J. Cole. According to Lamar, the two began working on music after they met years ago on the set of XXL.

Lamar calls himself and Cole the forefront guys. He says they are two young aggressive rappers trying to continue the essence of rap.

"That's why a lot of people look at us as the forefront guys. We'll take that responsibility," Lamar said.

Lamar's debut album "Good Kid, m.A.A.d City" released on October 22ND. Like most hip hop artists Lamar didn't feature too many popular artists on his album. He said he doesn't reach out to too many big features because he likes new talent.

"I like new additions to my sound and people that don't necessarily have that look. Just reinventing," he added.
