In honor of the late Chris Lightly some of hip hop's greatest emcees from the Violater movement paid tribute to the music producer. A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Missy Elliott and 50 Cent saved the best performance for last!
Other performances included Meek Mill, Rick Ross featuring Omarion, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy and T.I. performed two singles from his upcoming album "Trouble Man". Wiz Khalifa opened the show with "Work Hard, Play Hard".
The "I Am Hip Hop Award" honoree was Rakim aka "The God".
