Previously, it was reported that rapper Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III. Wayne accused him of using his music without permission. He was suing the filmmaker over a documentary called "The Carter" set to release in 2009. Wayne pulled the plug on the docufilm.
During Mr. Carter's deposition he was being very uncooperative. He refused to answer questions properly. His behavior was described as rude and irresponsible. Wayne also threatened the prosecutor in front of the judge.
On October 29TH Wayne failed to appear in court due to recent hospitalization for two seizures he suffered while on the plane. His absence gave the judge no choice but to base his decision on his deposition. Unfortunately the judge threw out Wayne's case and ruled in favor of Jones.
The "Lollipop" rapper was ordered to pay Jones near $2.2 million dollars!
