Rapper L.L. Cool J aka James Todd Smith has announced the release date of his 13TH studio album. The album titled "Authentic Hip Hop" is scheduled for release on February 12, 2013.
L.L. made the announcement via MySpace. He also spoke about his latest album on the Craig Ferguson show.
"I'm working on a new album. I think I'm going to put a record out. I haven't put one out in five years. So I'm putting one out in February," the rapper said.
The lip licking rapper already has two singles out called "Ratchet" and "Take It". During his solo career he delivered hits like "Bad", "Radio", "I Need Love", "Mama Said Knock You Out", " "Jingling Baby", "Around The Way Girl", "Booming System" and "Candy".
L.L. has also starred in films like "In Too Deep" along with Omar Epps and Nia Long, "Deep Blue Sea", "Deliver Us From Eva" with Gabrielle Union and other films. He currently stars as Special Agent Sam Hanna in NCIS.
