In a recent interview with T.J. Holmes on "Don't Sleep", Robin Russell, Chicago's deceased rapper Lil Jo-Jo's mother, said she believes Chicago rapper Chief Keef hired a hit man to kill her son.
What led up to JoJo's death was threats made between he and Keef via Twitter. After a video circulated where JoJo and one of Keef's crew members were going back and forth, one of them allegedly said they were going to kill the other. Hours later JoJo was found shot to death.
During the segment of "Don't Talk" T.J also spoke to JoJo's brother, John. When asked what lesson he learned from the victim's death he said to address people when he has a problem, not in a group but individually.
