What Really Happened Between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather?

Last month 50 Cent announced he and boxer Floyd Mayweather were no longer friends or business partners. Beforehand he said he staged a beef between the two because Floyd needed the attention. Recently, in an interview with Power 106 FM, Fifty addressed the real reason he and Mayweather parted ways.

According to the NY rapper, Mayweather asked Fifty to help him with his boxing promotion called Mayweather Promotions before he entered prison. He said he put everything together but when the boxer was released he acted as if he didn't know what was going on. Fif said Mayweather served owed him $2 million for starting TMT (The Money Team) Promotions but the undefeated boxer failed to pay up.

"So I do TMT Promotions, I get it all the way together. he comes home and there's the, Let's get Floyd back in pocket campaign that goes on, where there's $300,000 chains being bought and buying him the new Lamborghini and I'm sitting there going, when are you going to give me my money! It's about $2 million owed at that point," 50 explained.

Floyd makes and has too much money for him not to have paid Fifty the $2 million he owed him. 50 did him a favor but that just goes to show him why it's important to get things in writing. It's not that Fif needs the money but he wants to be compensated for his work.

The next person Fifty does business with he should get a written contract and make them sign it and if they don't fall through they will be facing a lawsuit!
