The infamous Busta Rhymes and producer Pharrell Williams have been accused of song jacking. A rapper named Monty went on record claiming the duo copied his song "Twerk It" and released it. According to Monty, he sent the track to an acquaintance of Williams and next thing you know the track was released!
Monty made a statement to the Miami Times saying the drum patterns and the hook lines are similar his version of the song.
That's quite shocking that Busta Rhymes would take another rapper's track and make it his own. Pharrell is a producer. One would think there's no need to steal songs when you got natural skills.
Nowadays everybody is jacking for beats!
