Eminem Opens Up About Past Drug Addiction



On April 25Th the documentary "How To Make Money Selling Drugs" was released. In the film included interviews with hip hop mogul Russell Simmons, Freeway Ricky Ross, rapper 50 Cent, Eminem and others.

Eminem discussed his past drug use and how he almost died because of it. In the past Em opened up about his drug addiction to VIBE magazine. He admitted to using prescription drugs like Vicodin, Ambien and Valium. In the documentary Em talked about when he first used Vicodin and how it made him painless.

"It just kind of numbed things. I don't know at what point exactly it started to be a problem. I just remember liking it more and more," Eminem explained.

The Detroit rapper also recalled how he was in denial about his drug use when people called him out on it.  Em also talked about how his organs had shut down causing him to take an emergency trip to the hospital.

"They were gonna have to put me on dialysis. They didn't think I was going to make it. My bottom was gonna be death," Em said.

Eminem's story is similar to legend singer El Debarge who was the only sibling drug free until he got hooked on Valium following dental surgery!
