Last month it was reported that rapper DMX was arrested on DUI charges. His publicist at the time confirmed the arrest but said he was let go after passing a breathalyzer test. Recently, following the rapper's arrest for DUI he was arrested again after a traffic stop.
X was accused of making an illegal U-Turn when he was stopped by the police. Upon a vehicle search police found bags of marijuana. They also said former Ruff Ryder member reeked of alcohol.
DMX aka Earl Simmons was arrested and taken to jail after one of the officers remembered the emcee had a warrant out for his arrest for a previous traffic violation.
According to X, he was set up. The incident was recorded by a female who accompanied X. On the video he can be heard saying it wasn't a normal traffic stop. He alleged that there were five cars and 18 cops on the scene.
How many times must this man get arrested before he starts staying indoors when he is intoxicated and waiting until he's sober to exit. Is it really that serious?
Wow! Did they look at X as a threat? They had already searched the vehicle and didn't mentioned any weapons were found so why did it take five cars?
